Student Employment Essentials (SEE) Training Track 1 will be offered preceding the conference on Monday, June 16 and Track 2 on Tuesday, June 17, 2008. The National Student Employment Association takes great strides to insure that the materials and the trainers are up to the minute. SEE Training is a great resource for all Student Employment professionals, whether you are new in the student employment arena or if you are a seasoned student employment professional.

Registrants have the choice to attend SEE Training, the 2008 Annual Conference, or a combination of the two. We encourage you to take advantage of all that is offered.

Conference Accommodations
The Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, located in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids, provides an elegant step back in history. The Amway Grand Plaza features a timeless beauty of the historic Pantlind Hotel with the contemporary décor of the Tower Rooms. The hotel houses eight restaurants, a fitness center with two hot tubs, a lighted tennis court, gift shops, boutiques, galleries and a breathtaking view. The hotel has agreed to extend its low conference rate three days prior and three days post conference* to allow attendees to come early or stay late making the Grand Rapids experience a fun-filled family vacation! Room Rates per night (plus occupancy and state tax):
$124 -single, $134 –double, $144 – Triple, $154 – Quad
Self Parking is available at a rate of $16 per day and valet parking at $25 per day.
Individual reservations not received by May 17, 2008 will be accepted on a space available basis and subject to hotel rack rates.
Guaranteed reservations are held until 6:00 am the following day. A $50 early departure fee is assessed upon check out.
Guest check in is 4:00 p.m. however, early arrivals will be accommodated based on availability. Check out is 12:00 noon.
Guests are required to present a valid credit card upon registration. If a credit card is not available, a $25 refundable deposit is required on cash or check paying guests.
Guests will receive complimentary use of the Pool/Fitness Center, and complimentary in room internet usage (does not include wireless).
Round trip shuttle service is available between Gerald R. Ford International Airport and the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel for a nominal cost.

MASEA is sponsoring a networking activity on Wednesday afternoon. We will be traveling by bus to the west coast of Lake Michigan to experience the quaint lakeside village of Saugatuck. Activities range from fishing Lake Michigan to swimming, canoeing or cruising on a paddleboat, to galleries and shops filled with local, regional, and international artwork.
